What is CVE-2025-9992?

The Ghost Kit – Page Builder Blocks, Motion Effects & Extensions plugin for WordPress allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to exploit a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the custom JavaScript field. As a result, attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that will execute for users accessing those affected pages, posing a significant security risk.
