What is CVE-2026-0550?

The myCred plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the 'mycred_load_coupon' shortcode. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will execute automatically when a user accesses the affected pages, posing a significant security risk to all users interacting with the compromised content.
