What is CVE-2026-0593?

The WP Go Maps plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access or higher, to manipulate global map engine settings. This issue arises from a missing capability check within the processBackgroundAction() function, affecting all versions up to and including 10.0.04. As a result, unauthorized modifications of critical map data become possible, which could compromise the integrity of map functionalities.
