What is CVE-2026-0604?

The FastDup plugin for WordPress is impacted by a Path Traversal vulnerability due to improper handling of the 'dir_path' parameter in the 'njt-fastdup/v1/template/directory-tree' REST API endpoint. This flaw allows authenticated users, including those with Contributor-level access or higher, to exploit the vulnerability and gain unauthorized access to the contents of arbitrary directories on the server. As a result, sensitive information stored within those directories could be exposed, presenting a serious security risk for affected installations.
