What is CVE-2026-0680?

The Real Post Slider Lite plugin for WordPress, up to and including version 2.4, is prone to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin settings. This flaw allows attackers with administrator-level privileges to insert malicious scripts into pages, which will execute when users access the compromised pages. It is important to note that this issue primarily affects multi-site installations, particularly where the 'unfiltered_html' option is disabled, elevating the risk of unauthorized script execution.
