What is CVE-2026-0684?
The CP Image Store plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to bypass authorization mechanisms. This is due to a logic error in the permission checks within the 'cpis_admin_init' function. As a result, these users can import arbitrary products via XML files, provided the XML has been pre-uploaded to the server. This flaw poses significant security concerns, enabling potential exploitation if not swiftly addressed.
