What is CVE-2026-0718?

The PostX plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows unauthorized users to modify post meta data due to a missing capability check in the ultp_shareCount_callback() function. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 5.0.5, enabling unauthenticated attackers to alter the share_count of any post, including private and draft posts, posing significant privacy and data integrity risks.
