What is CVE-2026-0724?
The WPlyr Media Block plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on the '_wplyr_accent_color' parameter. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with Administrator privileges and higher to inject malicious scripts into web pages. Such scripts are executed in the context of a user's browser when they access the manipulated pages, potentially compromising sensitive information or user sessions.
