What is CVE-2026-0737?

The Shortcodes Ultimate plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'src' attribute of the su_lightbox shortcode. This issue allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and higher to inject malicious scripts into pages. Consequently, any user who accesses a page containing these injected scripts risks executing arbitrary web scripts, leading to potential data theft or site compromise.
