Client-Side Prize Manipulation Vulnerability in Spin Wheel Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-0808

5.3MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-0808?

The Spin Wheel plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a significant client-side prize manipulation risk, found in all releases up to and including version 2.1.0. This vulnerability stems from the plugin's reliance on client-supplied data for prize selection, lacking the necessary server-side validation or randomization. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability by tampering with the 'prize_index' parameter sent to the server, enabling them to gain access to the most valuable prizes without proper authorization.

Affected Version(s)

Spin Wheel – Interactive spinning wheel that offers coupons 0 <= 2.1.0
