What is CVE-2026-0831?
The Templately plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability enabling arbitrary file write capabilities. This arises from insufficient input validation in the save_template_to_file() function, where user-controlled input parameters such as session_id, content_id, and ai_page_ids can be manipulated to create file paths without adequate sanitization. This flaw permits unauthorized attackers to write arbitrary .ai.json files within the uploads directory, posing significant security risks and the potential for further exploitation.
