What is CVE-2026-0927?

The KiviCare – Clinic & Patient Management System plugin for WordPress suffers from a significant security flaw that allows for arbitrary file uploads. This issue arises due to inadequate authorization checks in the uploadMedicalReport() function. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability to upload unauthorized files—including potentially harmful text files and PDF documents—onto the host server. Such uploads could facilitate a range of follow-up attacks, including hosting malicious content or launching phishing schemes through the utilization of PDF files.
