What is CVE-2026-0953?

The Tutor LMS Pro plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an authentication bypass flaw, allowing unauthenticated attackers to gain access to accounts of existing users, including administrators. This vulnerability arises from the plugin's failure to accurately verify that the email address in the authentication request aligns with the email linked to the validated OAuth token. Attackers can exploit this weakness by providing a valid OAuth token from their own account alongside the targeted user's email address. It is crucial to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
