What is CVE-2026-1003?
The GetGenie plugin for WordPress suffers from an authorization bypass vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 4.3.0. This flaw arises because the plugin fails to adequately verify user permissions before allowing the deletion of posts. As a result, authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher can maliciously delete any post on the WordPress site, including those written by other users, compromising content integrity and website reliability.
