What is CVE-2026-10082?

The Advanced Ads plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.0.23 contains a security flaw where a shortcode parameter is not properly sanitized and escaped before being output on the page. This vulnerability allows users with a Contributor role or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. Such scripts can execute when the affected content is viewed, including by users with higher privileges, potentially leading to unauthorized actions within the WordPress site.
