What is CVE-2026-101335?
The Forminator Forms plugin for WordPress is susceptible to arbitrary shortcode execution due to flawed handling of input parameters in versions up to 1.58.1. This vulnerability arises from the processing of user-controlled data in the plugin’s notification body. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by submitting a quiz response that includes the {quiz_result} merge tag in the notification template. This leads to the execution of arbitrary shortcodes present on the WordPress site, enabling attackers to inject malicious content or disclose sensitive information depending on the shortcodes exposed by other installed plugins and themes.
Affected Version(s)
Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder 0 <= 1.58.1
