Stored Cross-Site Scripting in SEOPress AI SEO Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-101357

4.9MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-101357?

The SEOPress – AI SEO Plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users, with subscriber-level access and above, to exploit the 'seopress_google_analytics_matomo_id' parameter. This occurs due to a lack of proper input sanitization and output escaping, enabling attackers to inject arbitrary scripts. When a user accesses a page with the injected code, it executes, potentially compromising user data and site integrity. The risk is heightened if an administrator grants the Analytics management capability to the Subscriber role through the plugin's Advanced security settings.

Affected Version(s)
