What is CVE-2026-103917?

The Quiz and Survey Master (QSM) plugin for WordPress is susceptible to arbitrary shortcode execution due to inadequate value validation before processing do_shortcode. This flaw permits unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes by exploiting the wp_ajax_nopriv_qsm_create_quiz_nonce endpoint, which wrongly serves as a CSRF token rather than an effective authorization measure. As a result, this vulnerability can be exploited without authentication, posing significant risks to WordPress sites using this plugin.
