Gitea Actions Vulnerability in Gitea by Gitea
CVE-2026-104626
What is CVE-2026-104626?
A security issue exists in Gitea that enables a user with privileges to open a fork pull request to manipulate workflow content within a Gitea Actions run pending approval. When a subsequent run in the associated concurrency group cancels a job that is already blocked, the status of the run turns terminal, albeit still awaiting approval. If a maintainer approves this run later, Gitea inadvertently allows the execution of potentially harmful workflow code by reverting the job to a pre-execution state, making it claimable by any matching runner. The risk arises from the combination of maintainer approval, enabled Actions, and the presence of a compatible runner that accepts jobs from the repository.
