What is CVE-2026-1051?

The Newsletter – Send awesome emails from WordPress plugin is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to inadequate nonce validation in the hook_newsletter_action() function. This oversight allows unauthorized users to trigger actions that can lead to the unsubscription of legitimate newsletter subscribers, provided they can deceive an authenticated user into performing a malicious action, like clicking a compromised link. All versions of the plugin up to and including 9.1.0 are affected.
