What is CVE-2026-10580?

The Hippoo Mobile App for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated users to bypass authentication protocols. This security flaw stems from a logic error within the HippooPermissions::get_user_permissions() function, which incorrectly grants full administrator access to unauthenticated visitors. As a result, attackers can execute requests to sensitive REST endpoints without any credentials, potentially resetting passwords of any user, including administrators. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 1.9.4, severely compromising the security of WordPress sites utilizing this plugin.
