What is CVE-2026-105976?

The Portfolio Filter Gallery plugin for WordPress, versions prior to 2.2.1, contains a vulnerability due to inadequate authorization checks in several AJAX actions. This flaw allows users with Contributor permissions to access, modify, and delete galleries created by other users, as well as to manipulate site-wide gallery filters. Such a weakness poses a significant risk to the integrity and privacy of user-generated content on affected WordPress sites.
