The Portfolio Filter Gallery plugin for WordPress versions prior to 2.2.1 contains a vulnerability that permits users with the Contributor role and above to bypass essential per-object authorization checks. This oversight allows them to delete certain media attachments that belong to other users, including administrators. This can lead to potential data loss and unauthorized manipulation of media assets within a site.
