What is CVE-2026-107649?

The Events Made Easy plugin for WordPress allows unauthenticated attackers to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'event[location_name]' parameter. This occurs due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in versions up to and including 3.2.22. The vulnerability can be exploited when both guest event submissions and forced location creation features are activated by a site administrator, which by default are turned off. When exploited, the attacker's scripts can execute whenever a user accesses an affected page, potentially compromising the website's integrity.
