What is CVE-2026-109215?

The LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that permits Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'bbp_reply_content' parameter. This issue arises due to a lack of proper input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access to inject arbitrary web scripts. Exploiting this vulnerability requires that the administrator has enabled Viewport Images (VPI) and has set a VPI filename corresponding to a user-generated content image. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability in bbPress topics where Subscribers can post replies that contain raw image tags, thus executing malicious scripts whenever users access the compromised pages.

Affected Version(s)
