What is CVE-2026-1095?

The Canto Testimonials plugin for WordPress is exposed to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'fx' shortcode attribute. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. When a user accesses an affected page, these injected scripts will execute, potentially compromising user data and security. It is imperative for users of this plugin to update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
