Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in NotificationX Plugin
CVE-2026-109513

7.2HIGH

What is CVE-2026-109513?

The NotificationX plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the 'name' parameter. This weakness stems from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The malicious scripts execute whenever a user visits an affected page, but this exploitation requires that an administrator has enabled a WordPress.org Reviews campaign and have positioned the notificationx-pro/notificationx dynamic block on a publicly accessible page, as per the plugin's documented workflows.

Affected Version(s)

NotificationX – FOMO, Live Sales Notification, WooCommerce Sales Popup, GDPR, Social Proof, Announcement Banner & Floating Notification Bar 0 <= 3.3.3
