Stored Cross-Site Scripting in Ninja Forms Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-109997

7.2HIGH

What is CVE-2026-109997?

The Ninja Forms plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks through the 'formData.extra' parameter. Due to the lack of proper input sanitization and output escaping, unauthenticated attackers can inject malicious web scripts that execute when users access compromised pages. Furthermore, the nf_ajax_submit endpoint's nonce validation can be bypassed, allowing an attacker to exploit the vulnerability with ease through a single unauthorized request. This exposes website users to potential security threats.
