What is CVE-2026-110010?

The MB Custom Post Types & Custom Taxonomies plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.12.3 has a weakness that permits an unauthenticated user to trigger a legacy data migration process. This flaw allows them to revert custom post type or taxonomy configurations back to their original state following an upgrade from versions prior to 2.0. The consequence of this vulnerability is that any changes made by an administrator to limit the visibility of these definitions can be undone, exposing sensitive content to unauthorized visitors.

Affected Version(s)

MB Custom Post Types & Custom Taxonomies 2.0.2 < 2.12.3

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
