What is CVE-2026-110029?

The Squeeze WordPress plugin prior to version 1.8.1 has a serious flaw that lacks proper capability checks on specific AJAX actions. This oversight allows authenticated users with minimal roles, such as Subscribers, the ability to manipulate attachments. Specifically, they can revert any attachment back to its backup copy and permanently eliminate that backup, as well as delete the plugin's WebP derivatives, irrespective of their ownership. This poses significant risks for data integrity and security.

Affected Version(s)

Squeeze 0 < 1.8.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
