What is CVE-2026-110290?

The WebberZone Top 10 - Popular Posts plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to exploit stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via the 'other_attributes (parsed to inject instance_id) + undeclared is_widget' parameter. This flaw arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, enabling attackers to inject arbitrary scripts that execute when other users access compromised pages. The vulnerability is triggered by setting the undeclared is_widget flag to '1' through block JSON, which leads to the concatenation of malicious instance_id values into an unescaped HTML class attribute.
