A vulnerability exists in Siemens Software Center that permits the loading of dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) from an uncontrolled search path. This flaw could potentially allow an authenticated local attacker to place a maliciously crafted DLL within a designated directory that the application searches, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the same privileges as the affected application.
