What is CVE-2026-113616?

The LogixFast Auth plugin for WordPress contains a significant vulnerability where it mishandles password reset requests. Instead of sending the password-reset one-time code to the user's registered email, it sends this sensitive information to the email address specified in the request. This flaw enables attackers to impersonate users, including administrators, and gain unauthorized access to their accounts by intercepting the reset code. It poses a serious risk to account security across affected installations.

Affected Version(s)

LogixFast Auth 0 < 1.0.4

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
