What is CVE-2026-115224?
The Customer Engagement System WordPress plugin prior to version 2.0.2 is vulnerable to SQL injection attacks due to improper handling of user input. The plugin constructs SQL statements for storing visibility rules by concatenating request-supplied ID values directly into an INSERT statement without adequate parameter binding or type casting. This vulnerability allows an authenticated administrator to exploit the flaw, potentially allowing arbitrary SQL commands to be executed. As a result, an attacker could read sensitive information from the WordPress database, compromising the integrity and confidentiality of the data.
Affected Version(s)
Customer Engagement System 0 < 2.0.2
Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
