What is CVE-2026-115277?

The User Frontend plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.3.14 fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied values, allowing reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via publicly accessible AJAX responses. This issue primarily affects logged-out visitors, as an anonymous nonce only validates requests from users not logged into the system. Consequently, malicious scripts can be executed in the context of the vulnerable site, posing a risk to users interacting with the affected features.

Affected Version(s)

User Frontend 0 < 4.3.14

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
