What is CVE-2026-115299?
The Contact Form by Supsystic WordPress plugin, in versions before 1.11.1, is susceptible to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. This flaw occurs because the plugin fails to verify a CSRF nonce when saving mail settings. An attacker could exploit this by tricking a logged-in administrator into accessing a specially crafted page, enabling them to alter the site's outbound mail configuration. This manipulation could redirect contact notifications through an attacker's controlled infrastructure, compromising sensitive SMTP server details, credentials, and notification recipients.

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
