What is CVE-2026-11579?

The Kali Forms plugin for WordPress, specifically versions before 2.4.17, contains a significant vulnerability where it fails to verify if a file upload is associated with an existing form that has a file-upload field. This oversight allows unauthorized users to upload files directly to the WordPress Media Library. Although file types are restricted to the default MIME types of WordPress, this vulnerability poses a potential risk to site security as it could lead to unwanted uploads and misuse of the media library.
