What is CVE-2026-116621?

The Ultimate Member plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'pm_note' parameter, as well as any custom Textarea metakey with HTML disabled. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.14.1. Authenticated users with subscriber-level access can exploit this weakness to inject arbitrary web scripts. When users interact with the modified profile page, these scripts will execute, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or information disclosure.
