What is CVE-2026-118043?

The Bulk Media Register plugin for WordPress lacks proper validation of user-supplied paths, allowing users with Author permissions to manipulate file movements. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive files by enabling users to move or rename files outside the designated WordPress directories. Consequently, this misconfiguration can undermine directory-level access controls and potentially expose protected information.
