4.9MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-118169?

The Hustle Email Marketing Plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with custom-level access to execute arbitrary web scripts. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'content[cta_label]' parameter across all versions up to 7.8.14.3. The security risk is heightened when Administrators assign the hustle_edit_module capability to lower roles, possibly exposing Subscriber-level users to exploit the vulnerability, allowing them to inject harmful scripts that execute when pages are accessed.
