Authorization Bypass in MultiVendorX Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-119745

5.3MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-119745?

The MultiVendorX plugin for WordPress prior to version 5.0.21 has a missing authorization vulnerability that allows any authenticated user, including those with minimal permissions like Subscribers, to access sensitive diagnostic information. By leveraging the admin_post_sender_debug_download action without necessary capability checks or nonce validation, attackers can retrieve vital details such as WordPress and PHP versions, full plugin inventories, active theme information, and sensitive plugin configurations. This oversight can lead to unauthorized exposure of critical data, compromising the security and integrity of the WordPress site.
