What is CVE-2026-11981?

The GiveWP plugin for WordPress contains a flaw that allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit it through Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). This vulnerability arises from the absence of nonce validation in the give_set_notification_status_handler() function. An attacker can craft a malicious request that, when executed by an unsuspecting site administrator, can alter settings and disable critical donation email notifications. This could have a significant impact on donation processing and communication, compromising the integrity of the donation system.
