Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Debug Log Manager Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-120114

7.2HIGH

What is CVE-2026-120114?

The Debug Log Manager Plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the 'message' and 'pageUrl' parameters. This issue affects all versions up to and including 2.5.2, stemming from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping mechanisms. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into web pages, which will execute when users access these compromised pages. Successful exploitation requires the site administrator to have debug logging enabled along with JS error logging active, and attackers need to obtain the dlmVars.jsErrorLogging nonce made publicly available on frontend pages for unauthenticated endpoint access.

Affected Version(s)

Debug Log Manager – Conveniently Monitor and Inspect Errors 0 <= 2.5.2
