SQL Injection Vulnerability in Taskbuilder Project Management Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-12110

6.5MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-12110?

The Taskbuilder plugin for WordPress allows for SQL Injection via the 'task_search' parameter across all versions up to and including 5.0.8. This vulnerability arises from inadequate escaping of user-supplied input and insufficient preparation of SQL queries. Authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access can exploit this flaw to append malicious SQL queries, potentially gaining access to sensitive database information. The lack of capability checks and nonce verification within the wppm_get_task_list AJAX handler further compounds the risk, allowing any authenticated user to invoke this functionality directly.

Affected Version(s)

Taskbuilder – Project Management & Task Management Tool With Kanban Board 0 <= 5.0.8
