Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in WS Form LITE Contact Form Builder for WordPress
CVE-2026-122231

7.2HIGH

What is CVE-2026-122231?

The WS Form LITE plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to improper input sanitization and output escaping. Attackers can exploit the 'field_[0][0]' parameter in versions up to and including 1.12.18 to inject malicious scripts into pages. When users access these compromised pages, the unescaped scripts will execute, potentially leading to harmful consequences. The vulnerability stems from the client-side esc_html() function, which fails to adequately handle non-string values, enabling a nested-array payload to reach jQuery .append() without escaping.

Affected Version(s)
