What is CVE-2026-12230?

The LearnPress LMS Plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'layout_custom_css' parameter. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 4.3.9.1, allowing authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access or higher, to inject malicious scripts into pages. When these compromised pages are accessed by users, the injected scripts execute, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data exposure.
