What is CVE-2026-12394?

The MemberGlut WordPress plugin prior to version 1.1.5 contains a vulnerability where the selected role during front-end registration is not properly validated. This flaw permits unauthenticated users to create accounts with arbitrary roles, including that of an administrator. Exploiting this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical administrative functions, putting the entire website at significant risk of compromise.
