What is CVE-2026-12397?

The WP Job Portal plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.5.5 contains a vulnerability that fails to verify ownership when returning an employer's contact email for specific job listings. This weakness allows authenticated users with subscriber-level accounts to access and enumerate the private email addresses of other employers by leveraging job identifiers. As a result, sensitive information is exposed, posing a risk to employer privacy and data security.
