What is CVE-2026-1252?

The Events Listing Widget plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the 'Event URL' parameter across all versions up to and including 1.3.4. This flaw arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts are executed whenever users visit the compromised pages, leading to potential data exposure or unauthorized actions on behalf of users.
