The Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress is prone to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that affects all versions up to 26.8. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the yoast-schema block attribute, allowing authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. Such scripts can execute on pages viewed by other users, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
